We envision a world where working people are able to borrow small amounts for emergencies and significant necessities without causing them to fall into a vicious debt trap and become and victims of loan sharks.
Our Mission
We provide no-interest micro-loans to people with steady and low income to protect them from becoming victims to predatory lending.
- Usury is forbidden not only in Islam but in many major religions
- Based on Federal Reserve Board surveys, a large portion of the population cannot come up with $500 for an emergency
- Usurious loan sharks (payday lending) take advantage of the need of the most vulnerable & charge as much as 400%
- This practice can place working people in a vicious financial cycle, akin to financial slavery
